An adjunct professor at Boston University's highly ranked College of Communication (COM), Brent has taught writing for the public relations, marketing and advertising professions since 2003. Earlier, he received his Master of Science in Mass Communication from this school, where he researched a thesis that investigated how the source credibility of online environments might affect the influence of news media gatekeepers.
